Painting Class
The portrait painting class with Professor Lin from Morehead State University is schedule for three days, April 20, 27 and a Sunday afternoon in early May. The cost is $ 165 per person. This is a good deal for those who want to learn about portrait painting. Contact Claudia Moose at Jmoose1020@aol.com if you are interested in attending.
Collage
Skip Werline will be teaching a collage class. The dates are April 12 and 13. The cost will be $ 75.00 per person. Those who have taken Skip's class before know how good it is. Contact Claudia Moose if you are interested.
Exhibits
Ken Swinson is having an exhibit at the Augusta Art Guild Building in downtown Augusta. It started April 6 (good Friday) with a reception at 6 p.m. and will run through out April. Check out Ken's new pictures.
There was an unveiling and dedication of four large murals, painted by Ken Swinson, at the Bracken County Library from 2-4 on April 7. The project is dedicated to the memory of Mackenzie Youngman and was commissioned by her family. The art work, depicts the four seasons of the year and some of Mackenzie's favorite things. From Maysville take the AA towards Bracken County, left on Ky 19 and right on Kentucky 10 in Brooksville.

Museum Show
Our annual museum show will start May 4 at 6 p.m. with wine and hor d'oeuvres. Please bring all work for the exhibit (max 3 works per artist) to the Kentucky Gateway Museum on Wednesday April 25, between 10 and 3 p.m.. This date is changed since the Museum needs our works earlier than anticipated. Donnations of hors d'oeuvres for the May 4 reception are appreciated. The Guild will provide the wine.
